At Champion Animal Hospital, our Warren, OH veterinarians and support staff thrive on helping your pets recover from injuries and illness. Get to know us a little better before your next visit so that you feel completely comfortable bringing your pets to us.
Dr. Holly Ray
Dr. Ray earned her B.S. in Biology from Dickinson College, Carlisle, PA. During the following five years, she lived in Dublin, Ireland, where she completed her veterinary degree at University College Dublin. After returning home, she became owner of Champion Animal Hospital in Warren, Ohio (1998). Her areas of special interest include surgical procedures and cosmetic reconstruction following traumatic injuries.
Outside of the office, Dr. Ray has a passion for showing horses. She rides an Arabian, a quarter horse, and a paint. In 2011, she and her paint horse, who is visually impaired, were featured in The American Paint Horse Journal.
Dr. Ray is also obsessed with Civil War history. She enjoys studying and visiting battlefield sites, including Gettysburg (a favorite destination). Other interests include scuba diving—which is how she met her husband—landscaping, farming, and target shooting. Dr. Ray has several “kids,” including several dogs, cats, and birds.
Dr. Toni Janosko
Dr. Antoinette Janosko graduated from Westminster College in 1999 with a double major in environmental science and (with honors) biology. At Westminster, she fell in love with 2 things: veterinary medicine and horses.
After graduating from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003, Dr. Toni practiced equine medicine in Trumbull County. Over the past decade, she has treated the largest horses down to the smallest kittens, and everything in between.
In recent years, through close work with a no-kill shelter, her understanding of the human-animal bond has deepened. Over time, she’s seen neglected animals blossom under the love and care of their new-found “forever” humans.
Dr. Toni lives in Warren with her husband, Garry, and her son, Carter. Completing the family are her beloved German shepherd, Syn, and anything-but-normal Border collie, Cassie—along with her one-eyed cat, Storm. Like any good cat, Storm has trained the family to fit her needs. Although their farm is currently without a horse, the family enjoys showing and breeding dairy cattle. In the spring, you’ll find family members at the end of a halter, showing and spoiling their “girls”.
Other animal-related hobbies include agility and obedience with Syn and Cassie, plus an interest in canine search and rescue. Dr. Toni has been a certified scuba diver since college, often traveling to the Caribbean and Galapagos in search of the perfect dive. Recently, her interests have expanded into the realm of T-ball as a coach for her son’s team.

Natalie, a California native, has been working in the veterinary field as long as she can remember. At 12 years old she was cleaning kennels and greeting clients for a veterinarian and close family friend back in California. He suggested that a career in Veterinary medicine would suit her, so she has continued in this profession ever since.
Nat shares her life with her adult children and her 2 dogs, Nate Dogg (a Rottweiler) and Deuce (a Bull Mastiff / Pitt Bull mix). Whenever she does find spare time, she enjoys spending it with her family while enjoying home decorating & repairs, outdoor activities, flea marketing, and reading.
Wendy has been a part of the Champion Animal Hospital team for the past 6 years, working as a receptionist. She is a 1996 graduate of Kent State University. Wendy and Bo, her husband of 17 years, live in Niles with their 2 children.
